Cupcakes Chicago Part I

Oi gente, ontem foi o aniversário da Fabi e para comemorar fomos para Chicago no final de semana. A viagem foi ótima e mesmo com o frio e o vento, e como venta, aproveitamos bastante. Nossa, como é bom viajar e desligar um pouco do mundo e da rotina, vocês não acham, nem que seja só um finalzinho de semana. No sábado fomos na Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique só para comer cupcakes, que delícia, nós amamos cupcakes e não perdemos uma oportunidade de testar novos lugares, hehehe. Bom, o que me chamou a atenção foi que ao invés de cobrirem os cupacakes da forma tradicional, eles fazem uma flor com a cobertura, achei lindo e super criativo. Compramos, testamos, e os cupacakes além de lindos são deliciosos. Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique está aprovadíssima.

Hello everyone!!! Yesterday was Fabi's birthday,YAY, and to commemorate we went to Chicago for the weekend. The trip was great and even with the cold and the wind we had a blast! It is so good to travel and to get out of the routine, even if it is just for the weekend, don't you think?! On Saturday we visited a cupcake shop called Bliss Cake Boutique, yummy. We absolutely love cupcakes (but I think you already know that by now, right?!LOL), so we don't miss any opportunity to try new places! Well, what caught my attention is that instead of topping the cupcake the traditional way they make a flower shape with the icing, which I thought was beautifully creative. We bought, we tested (LOL), and besides being so charming they are delicious. Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique is 100% approved!

Cotton Candy World

Oi gente, então, estava assistindo um programa de decoração de festas quando vi essas idéias com algodão doce e achei o máximo!!! Servir o algodão doce em taças, bolinhas em palitos e até mesmo com bebidas é uma ótima opção para qualquer tipo de festa, bom, eu amo e acho que sou suspeita para falar!!! hehehe. Além da idéia ser super original, é super simples de fazer, o custo não é alto e o resultado é lindo. Com certeza crianças e adultos irão adorar essas guloseimas.

Hello everyone!!! So, I was watching the other day a TV show about party decorating and when I saw the ideas with cotton candy I fell in love with it!!! To serve the cotton candy in a glass, or rolled on a stick, or even in a drink is a great option to any party. Besides this idea being super original, it is very simple to make, the cost is low, and the result is amazing! For sure children and adults will adore this more than special treat!

Energizing Orange

O laranja é uma cor quente e simboliza prosperidade e energia. Na decoração ele reflete a luz e é capaz de realçá-la. É uma ótima escolha para halls de entrada e salas, pois é uma cor convidativa e aconchegante. Na parede, nos móveis ou nos detalhes, o laranja com certeza é o foco principal do ambiente. É preciso ter cautela ao utilizá-lo, e uma das formas é adicionando branco ao ambiente, com isso o laranja não irá causar tanto impacto. O azul celeste é uma excelente cor para compor com o laranja e balancear o ambiente.

Orange is a warm color that symbolizes prosperity and energy. In the decoration it reflects light and it is capable of enhancing it. It is a great choice for entrance halls, because it is an inviting and cozy color. On the walls, on the furniture, or on details, the color orange is without a doubt the main focus of the space. But you need to be careful when using it and a good way to create the perfect balance it is to also add white to the mix. This way the orange will not create so much of an impact. Another great color choice to mix with orange are some shades of blue which will compose a beautiful harmony and color combination.

The Snakes are Loose in the Fashion Week

Na semana de moda de Paris e Milão para lançamento das coleções Outono/Inverno 2011, Prada, Gucci e Chloé definitavemente soltaram suas cobras. Nas estampas, nas botas e nos acessórios, as cobras estavam soltas. Prada e Gucci investiram mais nos sapatos e acessórios enquanto que Chloé nas estampas dos tecidos, que iam dos tons neutros aos coloridos, de camisas à vestidos, e eu particularmente gostei muito. E vocês, o que acharam, também querem soltar suas cobras???

During Paris and Milan Fall/Winter 2011 fashion week, Prada, Gucci, and Chloé definitely let loose their snakes. On the prints, boots, and accessories, the snakes were loose as loose can be. Prada and Gucci invested more on shoes and accessories, while Chloé preferred to stick with fabric patterns, which would range from neutral shades to colorful, from shirts to dresses, and I loved it! So, what do you guys think? Would you like to let loose your own snakes??? LOL
