Cupacakes Chicago Part II

No nosso segundo dia em busca dos cupcakes fomos na famosa Sprinkles Cupcakes. A Sprinkles Cupcakes foi a primeira loja de cupcakes do mundo localizada em Beverly Hills e agora em várias cidades nos EUA. A loja é linda por fora e por dentro, amei o design da fachada e quando entrei, nossa, o aroma lá é demais, que delícia, sem falar nos cupacakes. Adorei a idéia dos círculos em cima para diferenciar os sabores, além de deixar os cupcakes mais fofos do que já são. A massa é incrível, bem molhadinha, e o sabor, sem comentários, hehehe. Super recomendo a Sprinkles Cupcakes!

On our second day in the hunt for cupcakes we went to the infamous Sprinkles Cupcakes Bakery. Sprinkles Cupcakes is the world's first cupcake bakery that started in Beverly Hills, and now you can find it in many cities throughout the United States. The bakery is beautiful from the inside out, I loved the storefront design, and when I entered, OMG, the smell was unbelievable. It smelled like freshly baked cupcakes and icing. I loved the idea to use different colors of circles over the cupcake to differentiate flavors, not to mention how cute they look. The cupcake batter is perfect, very moist, and the flavor, come on, that should be illegal, LOL. I super duper recommend Sprinkles Cupcakes!

Cupcakes Chicago Part I

Oi gente, ontem foi o aniversário da Fabi e para comemorar fomos para Chicago no final de semana. A viagem foi ótima e mesmo com o frio e o vento, e como venta, aproveitamos bastante. Nossa, como é bom viajar e desligar um pouco do mundo e da rotina, vocês não acham, nem que seja só um finalzinho de semana. No sábado fomos na Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique só para comer cupcakes, que delícia, nós amamos cupcakes e não perdemos uma oportunidade de testar novos lugares, hehehe. Bom, o que me chamou a atenção foi que ao invés de cobrirem os cupacakes da forma tradicional, eles fazem uma flor com a cobertura, achei lindo e super criativo. Compramos, testamos, e os cupacakes além de lindos são deliciosos. Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique está aprovadíssima.

Hello everyone!!! Yesterday was Fabi's birthday,YAY, and to commemorate we went to Chicago for the weekend. The trip was great and even with the cold and the wind we had a blast! It is so good to travel and to get out of the routine, even if it is just for the weekend, don't you think?! On Saturday we visited a cupcake shop called Bliss Cake Boutique, yummy. We absolutely love cupcakes (but I think you already know that by now, right?!LOL), so we don't miss any opportunity to try new places! Well, what caught my attention is that instead of topping the cupcake the traditional way they make a flower shape with the icing, which I thought was beautifully creative. We bought, we tested (LOL), and besides being so charming they are delicious. Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique is 100% approved!

Cotton Candy World

Oi gente, então, estava assistindo um programa de decoração de festas quando vi essas idéias com algodão doce e achei o máximo!!! Servir o algodão doce em taças, bolinhas em palitos e até mesmo com bebidas é uma ótima opção para qualquer tipo de festa, bom, eu amo e acho que sou suspeita para falar!!! hehehe. Além da idéia ser super original, é super simples de fazer, o custo não é alto e o resultado é lindo. Com certeza crianças e adultos irão adorar essas guloseimas.

Hello everyone!!! So, I was watching the other day a TV show about party decorating and when I saw the ideas with cotton candy I fell in love with it!!! To serve the cotton candy in a glass, or rolled on a stick, or even in a drink is a great option to any party. Besides this idea being super original, it is very simple to make, the cost is low, and the result is amazing! For sure children and adults will adore this more than special treat!

We Scream for Ice Cream

Com certeza essa sobremesa merece um post exclusivo. Podemos afirmar que é a melhor da cidade, e olha que de sobremesa nós entendemos! hehehe. O nome da guloseima é chimi cheesecake e é do restaurante mexicano Puerto Vallarta. Ela é composta basicamente de uma massa frita, recheada com cheesecake e acompanha sorvete de creme e decoração com chantilly, cerejas, calda de chocolate e mel. A combinação de texturas é maravilhosa, o crocante da massa frita com o recheio de cheesecake que é macio e o sorvete dão um resultado perfeito. Ai ai ai, já estou com água na boca só de escrever esse post. Saboreiem com os olhos!

For sure this dessert deserves an exclusive post. We can affirm that is the best in town, and keep in mind that desserts are our best and favorite subject! LOL. The name of this yummy treat is chimi cheesecake, and it is from the Mexican restaurant called Puerto Vallarta. So, it is basically fried dough, stuffed with cheesecake, and comes with vanilla ice cream, whipped topping, cherries, chocolate syrup and to top it off honey. The texture combination is absolutely amazing; the crunchiness of the fried dough with the cheesecake filling and the ice cream gives the perfect result. Ai ai ai, my mouth is already watering just from describing this. You can eat with your eyes!

Cupcakes

Gente, quer invenção melhor que o cupcake, delicioso e na porção certa para uma pessoa, simplesmente perfeito. Acho que não preciso nem dizer que sou mega fã, né! E além deles serem deliciosos, eles também são lindos. Adoro a maneira de como eles são decorados, as cores, os detalhes, enfim, a apresentação em geral. Acho incrível a idéia de você dar uma festa e poder servir cupcakes de vários sabores e modelos, bom, pra mim não seria tão incrível assim porque com certeza eu já iria querer provar um de cada, daí já viu né. Tá certo, gula a parte eles são uma ótima alternativa pra quem não quer servir o bolo tradicional, e pra quem faz questão do bolo tradicional, é claro que também pode servir os cupcakes, pois são um ótimo adicional. Eles dão um visual super lindo em qualquer mesa e com certeza irão agradar todos os convidados, sejam eles crianças ou adultos.

Hey everyone, is there a better invention than cupcakes??!! They are delicious and in the perfect portion for each person. No need to say more; I am a huge fan! Besides being so yummy, they are beautiful. I love how they are decorated, the colors, the details, at long last the entire presentation. I think it's fantastic that you can throw a party and serve many different flavors and styles of cupcakes. And of course, I want to try each and every one of them. My sweet tooth aside, they are a great alternative for those who don't want to serve the traditional cake, and for those who like to stay traditional, they can also have cupcakes because they can be a great addition. Cupcakes look beautiful in any table setting, and it is certain that all guests will love them, may they be children or adults.

Love is in the air

Oi gente, então, o dia dos namorados está chegando (aqui nos EUA ele é comemorado dia 14 de Fevereiro e é conhecido como Valentine's Day), e na verdade o clima de romance já está no ar faz algum tempo. Em todos os lugares, desde de lojas até supermercados, o que mais se vê são presentes e decoração do tema. Realmente, aqui o pessoal investe muito nessa data, que por sinal acho ótimo. Quer coisa melhor que ganhar flores, chocolates, presentes e bichos de pelúcia, acho que toda mulher gosta né!!!
